Jo – Kew Studio, Prahran Studio and Home Lessons across Melbourne.
Jo began dancing in 1989, and hasn’t stopped since. In fact, she still teaches at the same dance school she’s been attending since then! She has spent the last 12 years teaching Ballroom, Latin American, Ballet and Jazz full time in Australia and the UK to both adults and children, and in 2011, Jo founded First Dance Melbourne.
She enjoys all forms of dance, and loves teaching wedding dances because each couple and each routine is unique. From the elegant waltz to an outrageous flash mob, she does it all!
Jo is based at our new headquarters in Kew, but also teaches at The Space in Prahran as well as Home Lessons across Melbourne whenever she can find the time.
Felicite – Western Suburbs Home Lessons
Felicite began dancing when she was very young, and still can’t get enough of it! She’s tried everything from Irish dance to Hip-hop and has spent many years teaching Ballroom and Latin dance to couples and singles, for weddings, medal examinations, and just to learn to lead and follow socially.
She enjoys creating personalized routines for weddings that reflect who you are as a couple and feels that having your own personal style is most important. With such a vast dance background, Felicite is sure to be able to help you create your own dance experience that you will never forget!
Felicite is available after hours for Home Lessons in Melbournes Western Suburbs.
Kim – Eastern Suburbs Home Lessons
Kim learnt ballet, tap and jazz as a little girl but did not rediscover dancing until her mid twenties when she took up Ballroom and Latin American classes. Since then it is hard to keep her away from the dance floor and she has been involved with concerts, balls, corporate events, performance teams and presentations. Whether it be a passionate Tango or a sexy Cha Cha, Kim loves to shine on the dance floor and would be very excited to help you to shine during your spotlight dance. When Kim got married in March 2015, she danced an amazing Jive with her husband Pete for their First Dance.
Kim teaches Home Lessons in the Eastern suburbs, outside of business hours, most days of the week!
